The O’ jays were the music group that I grew up listening to, along with a lot of groups of the 70’s and 80’s. These groups were singing about real love, not about just sex. They were talking about a man and a woman who really meant something to each other and had meaning behind their songs, and they sung their songs with such a soulfulness, from their heart and soul. That’s why it was called soul music. Because it’s music that’s sung from the soul. Peace!

Drove over 500 miles to see these brothers at a jazz festival in Houston Texas in 1974, these brothers tore it up! I even rode the elevator with them and his son jerel LeVert! Never knew that super Stars could be so common, or down to earth. But we spoke, talked, they went about their business, and we did accordingly. Never forget that festival ❤😊

Saw these brothers in St. Louis during their last tour. It was so many walker, wheel chairs and oxygen tank in the house. The concert was incredible. One of the greatest vocal group of all time. The Mighty O'Jays.
