@mch-aka007

8:35 lets me know this guy has an OUTRAGEOUS sense of humor! It's a 5 star in my book!! Great job as always and an extra home run lolol!

@kikidee9623

Subscribed after 8:35 the juxtaposition of that statement and the overall eloquence of your video took me by surprise, in a good way.

@sharms888

Lol the general consensus among comments 8:35 Did he really say that 🀣🀣🀣 But I Totally agree πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘

@sharonwebb945

Painting the interior door black made a stunning difference!

@respeezy

Thanks for the vid, would be cool to have you do a video where you go over pictures of rooms and kind of walk us through all your concepts and point out things you like or dislike. The moments in your videos where you do such things, are the most interesting for me.

@elephantintheroom5678

This guy is really good at what he is doing.

@monginakebati5035

Am so big on lighting and sound like a broken record too! Keep telling my friends that lighting can make or break a home. I never miss your videos since i discovered youπŸ™‚ Watching you from Kenya!

@illegalalien6542

8:36 I laughed harder than I should have. Was not expecting that at all... 🀣

@dkirk5814

Always solid advice without waffle.

@jacquih8804

NEW to your videos, and what captured my attention is your "opinion first then the examples" right after! Everything is aways CLEARLY presented! They are helping me with valuable tweaks to some of my items and home!πŸ‘ŒπŸΎ All w/out going against my likes/style!πŸ‘πŸΎπŸ™ŒπŸΎ

@ConstanceFMoore

I follow several interior design ppl on YouTube. You are the absolute best. Never tire of your voice, teaching, and so much reason. Thankfully 😊😊😊

@Mari-cre8s

Another terrific thought provoking video, TY! A personal note.. I work with Home Care and Hospice, visiting people in their home for professional care. Scent, as mentioned at the end of your video can be a real problem for some people! Firstly, allergies/sensitivities, I have left homes with a headache due to scented products and carried it on my clothes the rest of the day. Second, those living in a house get acclimated to a scent and tend to make it stronger over time so they can smell it… and it’s like walking into a wall when a visitor steps in… yuck. Third, many fragrance oils (vs essential oils) have dangerous chemical in them to one’s health. Good old fresh air, or natural citrus can be tolerated much better. Just my opinion!! 🌻

@mark9294

Had to rewind multiple times at 8:34 to make sure I got it right :D

@thomashayden2609

This guy is funny. I can listen to this all day.

@robinmiddlebrook861

I love this man’s soothing voice, it’s very calming. 😌

@Dovietail

It's especially hard not to get cluttered as you get older. I am a born "collector" and always prefer lovely and interesting COHESIVE GROUPS of objects, but I turn 60 next month and have been amassing various collections since my teens. It's really time to start letting go of some the wonderful objects that are starting to overpopulate the visual aspects of my home.

@mark9294

Amazing tips as always, thanks for sharing! I feel you're so good at actually articulating actionable advice, which is rare in the area of home decor that seems to follow so many vague, intuition-based rules

@VitorMach

The shadows @ 3:00 look amazing, I love the idea!

@Christine-n1f

Wow, what great information.. hands down you are one of the best designers on youtube and I listen to a lot of them.

@kestiameshad

I love your channel! I've learned so much from you, and over the past few weeks have started to incorporate your advice to my home and it looks better already. It's still an ongoing project and I was just so impatient before, wanting to see results immediately and didn't take the time to slowly add to my home that it looked a bit sterile. Now I'm taking my time and really put in the consideration of whether something works for my home or not.
