YES! FINALLY SOMEONE NOTEWORTHY SAID IT! I've been thinking for years now that the world is just becoming more and more polarised and everyones painting each other into good and evil, black and white etc. But the world isn't black and white, and what one person sees as a good thing another sees as bad, so there is no bad, it's all just perspective. Perspective is the most important thing in the world. Everyone thinks they're the hero but EVERYONE has been the bad guy even by their own definitions of what bad is. The beauty in humanity is and has always been the ability to share and learn from each other, and I think somewhere along the way we've all forgotten that. This movie has me real hopeful, James Gunn is such a wonderful gift to this world, we need more like him.

I absolutely love the Gunn quote about basic human kindness. It's 100% what I was hoping for - no political holier than though narratives, just pure and simple kindness, regardless of what else you might believe.
