i thought this was our worst move. he’s too old. costs too much and there are a ton of DTs in this draft that will put perform him. the money would have been spent better elsewhere

5 years ago maybe. Poles just gave over 14 million per year on a DT that will be 32 in April heading into his 11th season for a position with and average shelf life of 2 years. The Dalman signing was excellent but the other two signings are questionable at the very best. Poles just cut one 3 sack DE to pay bigger money to another 3 sack DE. How is anyone still stuck on stupid with Ryan Poles? Kevin Warren basically had to step in and hire Ben Johnson and his coaching staff for him, that should tell you everything you need to know.
