Some of these comments are absolutely ridiculous, but I personally struggled to make rice because someone else always did my cooking, so now that I'm forced to learn how to feed myself, this video was very helpful, I followed your instructions to the letter and my rice actually came out perfect. Thanks for taking the time to post this video.
As an asian i dont do the cup ratios or use a pan. Rice cookers all day. Where are my asians that use their finger to measure?🍚🍚
At 39 years of age, I just made my first batch of rice (it came out perfectly)…thank you very much!

I'm moving out by myself and finally need to learn how to cook so that I don't starve. For whatever reason, cooking has always been so daunting to me (I do it, just rarely) so I thought I'd look for an easy cookbook for beginners. I came across this and in less than five minutes already feel so much more confident. And, I feel like I know everything there is to know about cooking rice. Thank you so much! I subscribed and can't wait to follow these once I'm in my new kitchen!

I've been for a while trying to cook the perfect rice but it was either too mushy or too dry or burnt at the bottom and ever since I started following your rules on how to measure the rice and water and the timing it's coming out perfectly now and I want to thank you for posting this and giving us a good understanding of how simple things can be when you actually follow the rules.👍
love how us asians have taken over the comment section complaining about how she’s making the rice... but i mean here we are watching a how-to-cook-rice video.. lmao
