“But no it’s taking that shit out of your house!” When you said that I laughed out loud 😂
I just laughed way too hard. 😂
The poncho idea is a great idea ill have to try that next time!
The poncho! I love it lol love your guys shorts!
It doesn’t stop the tree from drying out 100%, but using a humidifier near the tree helps a LOT! I’ve found that the tree need less water in the tree stand, and it reduces the needles shedding by a significant amount.
You could always get a live tree and plant it after! More greenery in the backyard and they grow as you do 😊
Use a “Christmas tree bag” to take out your tree. You put it on the bottom when you get it (underneath the tree skirt) and when it’s time to take it down it makes removal of the tree a breeze!
They sell bags to put under your tree and skirt, when you are done taking everything off, pull the bag over the tree and all done!! So easy and no dragging needles through your house! 😊
Next year you could add a sheet around it to catch some of the needles! My family would jsut tip ours onto a bedsheet and drag the sheet out to the curb with the tree inside. (An old sheet of course lol.
It’s okay no judgment over here we just put ours away this weekend😂
I just wanna stop and admire how beautiful her new house is 😮
What my family did is we had a tree that was in a pot that we kept year round outside and when it was Christmas we would move it inside. It never shedded because it was alive and it was so cool having it grow with our family.
Granted, but you gotta ❤ the real smell of pine 😊
Tip, you put a rubbish bag ( cut a hole in the bottom) under the skirt when you put the tree up and when it comes to removing it just pull the bag up around the tree and 90% stays in the bag.
Girl same I still have my tree up 😭💚
Top tip from me...enclose the tree in an old duvet cover or similar fabric bag before moving it. Take the duvet cover off at the dump of course, turn it outside in and shake it, fold it up in the decoration storage box and it's ready for next year. No extra plastic waste required.
Real trees need to be watered almost daily, you’d be surprised how thirsty they get. Also they will shed less, just from experience ❤
If you don't have pets, there are some trees that don't loose needles but they are generally more dangerous if ingested. I had one sitting for 6 months in a compost heap still not loosing needles, just turned brown
I definitely recommend getting a real one eaven tho it's messy it so m7ch better for the environment and it more magical ❤
