Stayed there from 1970 to 1974. I visited the same place in December 2023. Lots of changes observed. There was no Burudih lake in seventies. The British era causeway bridge was destroyed by some idiots destroying my nostalgia. From south bank to Surda mines the road was gravel sweep, now replaced by asphalt road but the dense forest had vanished. Surda mines is so desolate condition that it is heart felt by me. Mosabani mining town is now a dead township. Road towards Phuldungri and all the way to Dharagiri waterfalls is suitable for offroad vehicle only. My memories of 1970-74 are totally destroyed seeing the changes in fifty years. Still the Ghatsila-Mosabani belt is the second best place in my opinion and I am some sort of global tourist.
