Bravo... well said. Cane sugar comes from a plant, too, but, as you say, is concentrated and highly processed. And sugar from WHOLE fruits (not juice) gives you the fiber, AND you probably can't consume as much whole fruit as just the juice. So while we (diabetics) don't want to overdo the sugar from fruit, it's much better than "added" sugar.

Oh... and eat the fruit AFTER fiber and protein to lessen the glucose spikes even more.
