I’m taking this opportunity to share my favorite piece of AC lore: in ACNL, Occasionally when talking to Lyle from HHA, you can ask him ”What’s new” and he will spill some tea about Tom Nook. One thing Lyle will tell you about is that Tom Nook and Timmy & Tommy became business rivals when they opened their one store. He even tried to spy on them through their store window

I actually found Katie wondering around in my town in Wild World a few months ago. My brother has Kaitlin in his town & we only play together through "DS to DS" with the Nintendo DS. So, it still is possible to see them both in Wild World without an actual online connection.

There are actually 7 amiibo cards for Isabelle! Along with the 6 you mentioned, there was a Isabelle promo card in the September/October 2015 issue of the Japanese magazine Pikopuri. There was also a K.K. Slider promo card in the April/June 2016 issue.

just one little correction, katie is also in new leaf! she asks you to take her to someone else's town. only her mother doesn't come back, but katie is still able to be seen at least in one game

This video made me so happy. I love your content anyway but deep dives into AC lore are just my thing. Now I realized that having bought so many special character Amiibos for NH (I think, actually all of them now) to complete my existing collection, I totally have to go back to Happy Home Designer and create homes for them because of all the lore tidbits you get in this game when you're chatting with them afterwards, even more than in HHP.

I have a very special place in my heart for porter and champ. porter shares a birthday with me! he's also one of the least popular special characters, but i still have a sticker and a plushie of him. accf was my first animal crossing game and champ was one of my neighbors growing up. i ADORED him. his shirt is my favorite color and he was always so sweet to me. I was absolutely heartbroken to find out he was the ONLY villager cut after city folk. i want them to bring him back so bad
