A LOT of what you are going to see in the next couple of episodes are very inaccurate. But I will say they did the trial itself almost picture by picture because the trial is on the internet to study. Like that whole Lyle testimony was almost word for word (ALMOST). Like the whole showing the n*de child pictures and hanging them up. As well as the whole did you cry? did you bleed? as well as him saying sorry to Erik that’s all in the real trials. You will be able to see it if you watch the documentary and I hope you react to it. However Lyle and Erik in real life had so many emotions that not even good actors like Nicholas Chavez (who plays Lyle) and Cooper Koch (who plays Erik) can even convey. That’s how real their emotions were even people who study body language have studied it and said that their body language is way too consistent and real with trauma to fake and even award winning actors can’t convey it.

The documentary is more based on the truth on what happened, and the tv show was more dramatized and added stuff as they tried to make it more entertaining and they put multiple point of views in there

I think the double entendre when Dominick Dunne says, “you withheld important evidence from the jury” leading to a lenient sentence in his own case involving his daughter’s death which clouded his objectivity and, ironically, in the same circumstance of important information being withheld in the second Menendez trial led to the brothers being over sentenced is lost on some people.

I believe that Lyle situation when it comes to the make belief... its not all acting. Because being openly talking about homosexual activities were a tabú back then... and say you were S. A. man is even worse. I hope they are free soon.
