“I was just foolin ‘bout.” “I wasn’t.” Easily the most badass retort.
“Why, Johnny Ringo, you look like somebody just walked over your grave.” You can see in Jonny Ringo’s eyes that he knows he’s about to die.
Props to the editor for not just showing the shot but the build up. The whole point of a scene like this is that brittle tension build up before anyone actually draws guns.
No I think Val Kilmer should have received an Oscar for his portrayal of Doc. He was awesome.
Alot of people don't realize that Wyatt Earp lived until 1929, and worked in the movie industry as a consultant, and in professional boxing as a referee, among other jobs! He also penned his memoir during this time!
"i'm your huckleberry" isn't just the best modern western quickdraw moment, it's the best of all time.
I love the cut out of translation in Rambo when the pirates make it clear they wont be bargained with. He's the only one that can understand them, and as Rambo is the main character and main point of our perception, he's the one providing translation. Translation cutting out is him turning out everything to go into a battle focus. No more negotiation, no more translation, just full focus on measuring the battlefield and figuring out the most efficient kills. Amazing attention to detail.
Doc Holiday. A man who knows he's dying isn't afraid of getting killed!
"They're better off without you"........Such a cold line. Very nice collection. Love the proper setup too and not just going into the action.
Putting Doc Holliday in the thumbnail is one easy way to get me to click as quickly as possible
Am I the only one who thinks this tombstone is one of the best westerns ever
Tom deadass took a bullet to the shoulder and still hit his ass with the Red Dead 2 deadeye. What a legend
It doesn't matter how many of these you make, or hell, even how many quick draw scenes Hollywood makes... NOTHING ever will beat Doc Holiday.
People didn't really seem to like that Magnificent Seven remake, but Denzel is amazing as a stone-cold gunslinger.
Doc knew he had won when Johnny laid his cards on the table. Johnny went for his gun slowly and Doc knew for sure he had him. He smiled and tapped his gun to simply waited to finish what he knew was coming. Doc knew he was going to beat him before they even drew. Fantastic scene.
Doc Holliday walking between the trees to meet Ringo is the coolest entrance ever
Tombstone is the best western ever. Val Kilmer should have won a serious award for his portrayal of doc holiday. Historically correct or not. He was the perfect foil to Kurt Russell's straight man.
"I'm afraid the stress was more than he could bear..."
That Tombstone scene will always be the most legendary quickdraw scene in cinematic history
