I met my wife at my first ever dream con back in 2019. Been together ever since and this year we were able to welcome two beautiful baby girls into the world(If you’re in the Twitter community some of yall seen the pic). Thank you Rdc for everything. I'm a 33 year old Black man, my uncle introduced me to comics, manga and anime back in 97. Back then it was tough being a nerd but being a Black nerd was even social suicide, but it saved my life and kept the hood from taking me under. I'm forever grateful for RDCWorld and other Black artists who gave us a light in the dark.

I'm from Atlanta, GA, and pretty much everyone I knew back then was into anime, including myself. It's been part of the culture since Wu-Tang introduced us to Eastern culture. For me, it was Method Man saying "I'm the true fist of the North Star!" Then looking that up and going nuts at age 15ish, then everyone in the hood talking about Ninja Scroll, to Dragon Ball and Z being part of our everyday lives. This was in the late 90s
