Lovely bar the chrome around the windows
Having previously owned the last Mazda 6 and being a massive Mazda fan, I was very excited when I saw this released in China last year. I was really hoping they would release it here. Looks wise, it's a great follow-on from the previous 6 and I'm happy that Mazda are getting more serious about EVs (the MX-30 was the reason I chose an Hyundai EV), but I feel like the battery and motor tech for this car is already behind the competition; the pricing will be key. I hear they're aiming for a sub £40k starting price in the UK. Let's see how they launch it.
Lovely looking but maybe a bit behind the curve already regarding range, battery, etc especially if it’s not out until 2026? Depends on price too I guess.
I am living in Thailand and could make a longer test drive Chinese L07 sedan on which this Mazda is based on. It is a very good car and i like the large hatch instead of a standard trunk. Unfortunately the seat hight is too low for me. Mazda has made a good job with their adaption. Maybe they will also introduce a EV SUV.
Mazda,now that's a brand I can get behind
Based on Changan’s Deepal L07.
This is a rebadged Changan Shenlan SL03. The battery, motors, software and most of the bodywork are exactly the same as the SL03. Mazda only changed the badging, the front fascia, and the tail lights.
A bit ahead of the 323 i had. Down to pri e. Hope we get rhe chineese car its based on.
What's Mazda's battery and car warranty like... Is Normal
It's a disappointment that Mazda have gone down the road of merely putting their bodywork and badge on a Chinese developed EV. My current 6 saloon will likely be my last.
Slow acceleration, typical from Mazda. Nice shape though
