“Each one went straight ahead. Wherever the spirit would go,
they would go, without turning as they went.”
Daily Bread
1) God's presence is universal.
Ezekiel's vision of the creatures with wheels and the moving throne shows that God's presence isn't limited to one place. This means that God is with you whether you're in a classroom, dorm room, or far from home. God is always there, ready to guide and support you. Embrace the idea that God is with you in every part of your college life. Whether you're dealing with tough classes, personal problems, or planning your future, know that you can seek God's presence and guidance anytime. This can give you comfort and strength during times of uncertainty or stress. How can you be more aware of God’s presence with you today?
2) God initiates change.
The vision also shows that God is always active and working in new and unexpected ways. This should remind students that change and movement are part of God’s plan. They can lead to growth and new opportunities. Be open to the changes and new opportunities that come your way. Whether it's a sudden shift in your studies, an unexpected friendship, or a new calling, think about how God might be using these changes to shape you and prepare you for His service. Instead of resisting change, explore how it might be part of a bigger plan.
Prayer: Lord, thank You for being with me wherever I go and for showing me that Your presence is everywhere. Help me stay aware of how active You are and to embrace the changes and new experiences in my life as opportunities to see Your work and glory. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
