In this lesson Chad provides a lesson on the Doppler Effect, specifically as it applies to sound, but more generally alludes to how it applies to light as well. He begins with a qualitative description of the Doppler Effect before introducing the equation for the Doppler Effect, explaining how to use it depending upon whether the source and/or observer are moving either toward or away from the other. He solves an example where the observer is moving toward the source and then another example where the source is moving toward the observer.
