A beautiful orchestral piece from Corelli. I played it how it would turn out on pipe organ with an all string registration, including 16' and 8' string stops for the pedals to mimic the depth from the contrabass. I was surprised how well it turned out, so I decided to record it. Which wasn't as easy as I hoped for. The notes have to be played mildly staccato, there is happening a lot in the piece and you want the rhythm as steady as possible.
I'm happy with the result from this one. I hope you like it too!
Played with the 1924 Steinmeyer organ, Landau, St. Maria, Germany (Hauptwerk)
