TMC moved a proposal in the Legislative Assembly against BJP MLA Shuvendu Adhikari over his statement of throwing Muslim MLAs out of the House in West Bengal... which was opposed by the BJP MLAs present in the House... During this, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee also responded to Shuvendu Adhikari's statement in the House.

पश्चिम बंगाल में मुस्लिम विधायकों को सदन से बाहर फेंकने वाले बयान पर TMC ने विधान सभा में बीजेपी विधायक शुवेंदु अधिकारी के खिलाफ प्रस्ताव रखा... जिसका सदन में मौजूद बीजेपी विधायकों ने विरोध किया... इस दौरान सदन में मुख्यमंत्री ममता बनर्जी ने शुवेंदु अधिकारी के बयान पर जवाब भी दिया... ममता बनर्जी ने सदन में कहा, धर्मनिरपेक्षता, एकता और विविधता ही हमारा आधार है... बंगाल में हर धर्म के लोग पूजा करते हैं, यहां धार्मिक कार्ड ना खेला जाए।
