पूर्व मध्य रेलवे क्षेत्र से फिलहाल 215 मेल एक्सप्रेस ट्रेनों का संचालन हो चुका है और 39 यात्री गाड़ियों का भी संचालन प्रारंभ किया गया है। इसके बाद भी यात्रियों को काफी परेशानी उठानी पड़ रही है पूर्व मध्य रेल की तरफ से रेलवे बोर्ड से नियमित सवारी गाड़ियों के संचालन की मंजूरी मांगी गई है। जल्द ही इसकी मंजूरी मिल जाएगी। उम्मीद जताई जा रही है और उसके बाद मार्च के मध्य तक एक्सप्रेस के साथ-साथ सवारी गाड़ियों का भी संचालन प्रारंभ कर दिया जाएगा।
