Zechariah 2:1-13, KV 11
“Many nations will be joined with the LORD on that day and will become my people. I will live among you and you will know that the LORD Almighty has sent me to you.”

1) God as our protector.
Zechariah’s vision of Jerusalem shows a city so large that it can’t be contained by walls, with God providing a protective "wall of fire." This reminds us that God is our ultimate protector—His presence is a better safeguard than any physical or human-made security. As a follower of Christ, you may feel vulnerable in your daily life—whether from work pressures, social challenges, or uncertainty about the future. Remember, God promises to protect you. Seek His protection through prayer, asking Him to surround you with His presence and peace. Trust that He is keeping you safe in every situation, just as He promised to guard Jerusalem.

2) God's invitation to all.
The invitation to leave Babylon and return to a safe and thriving Jerusalem represents God’s call for everyone to escape spiritual exile and be with Him. It reminds us that God’s love and help are for everyone, no matter where they come from. Think about whether you are stuck in a "spiritual Babylon"—comfortable situations that keep you from fully following God. Are there parts of your life where you're settling for less than what God wants for you? Decide to move away from these areas and toward God’s promises. Share this message with others and encourage them to seek a closer relationship with God.

Prayer: Lord Almighty, thank You for being our protector and for Your open invitation to live in Your presence. Help me to live fully within the safety of Your will and to extend Your invitation to others, demonstrating Your love and inclusivity. Guide us as we bring more people into the knowledge of Your protective and loving presence. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
