Restored USAF documentary from 1962 about its role in early space technology. Early Atlas missile and reentry capsule development is shown. Other early missiles like Titan, Minuteman and Thor are covered. The development of launch sites is detailed. Satellites such as TIROS, Discovery, and MIDAS are explained. Blue Scout vehicles are shown being assembled and launched.

The video was remastered to improve color stability and balance towards overall neutral tones.

AI upscale (Topaz AI) was used to resample and clean up the video to HD resolution. While it works in most cases, some artifacts may be present in some sequences. If you prefer to view the original low-resolution footage reduce quality to 480p.
