Welcome to the Pacific University's winter MFA writing residency, in which I see my very first snowfall, an ice storm seizes the city, and I rewrite my entire first chapter from scratch during the subsequent power outage. ✍️🕯☕️

This video was a BEAST to edit—I cut it down from three hours of footage to twenty-five minutes, but it’s definitely one of my favorite videos so far.
