Today I share a performance of the hymn tune America on the pipe organ—a melody that resonates deeply on both sides of the Atlantic. Known in the United States as My Country, ’Tis of Thee and in Europe as God Save the King/Queen, this piece embodies the shared cultural heritage and connections between our continents.

This performance is particularly meaningful as it coincides with the inauguration of a new presidential term in the United States. For many, it will be a day of hope and celebration, while for others, it may bring uncertainty or reflection.
