Daily Bread
1) God creates something out of nothing.
In the beginning, God created everything out of nothing. The earth was dark, empty, and chaotic, but with just His words, God brought light and order. In the same way, our lives without Him feel empty and broken, filled with the darkness of sin and confusion. But God, in His power and love, can transform even the most hopeless heart. He brings peace where there is chaos and purpose where there is emptiness. Just as He created order in the universe, He can create order in our lives. Take a moment to think about the different areas of your life. Where do you see God working, and how can you thank Him for it today?

2) God’s power in His Word.
When God said, “Let there be light,” light appeared instantly. God’s Word is powerful—it creates, transforms, and brings life to the world. With just His words, God shaped the beginning of creation. That same power is still at work today, not just around us, but within us. God’s Word has the power to guide us, change us, and give us new life. On our own, we can’t escape sin or experience true growth. No amount of willpower or effort can bring the lasting change we need. Only God’s Word can purify our hearts, transform our minds, and make us holy. Are you relying on your strength, or are you trusting in God’s Word to shape your life? Let His Word work in you—it’s the only way to find real and lasting transformation!

Prayer: Lord, thank You for being the Creator of all things and for giving me life. When my heart feels empty or overwhelmed, I trust in Your power to bring light, peace, and purpose. Help me to rely on Your Word daily, knowing only You can truly change my heart and guide me to live for You. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
