The sport touring game has never really been Kawasaki’s strong point but it’s not entirely their own fault. Bikes like the Concours 14, Ninja 1000 the stupendous H2 SX have all been solid performers (well, maybe not the H2, but it’s still by far the coolest), but they haven’t quite won the hearts and minds of the public in the same way Yamaha has with the Tracer or BMW has with the S 1000 XR.
The Big K is firmly aware of this and has endeavored to revamp its line-up for 2025 with a new 1100cc motor residing in the Ninja SX and this $19,499 MSRP Versys 1100 LT SE, and we went to Mexico to take one for a spin.
