Flash Lighting TRANSFORMED This Image and It Was So EASY

In this week's macro photography lighting tutorial, I show how easy it is to use flash lighting to completely transform your image. I take images of smoke creating beautiful patterns and explain how to use flash settings to eliminate the ambient light in the room and to create dramatic-looking abstract images.

I love this photo project idea. It's so easy to do and requires very little equipment; just your camera, a wireless flash and something to create the smoke. For many of the shots I just used an incense stick, while for others I used a professional hand-held smoke machine (called the Smoke Genie), but a vape pen would also work well here.
