My service dog in training, John Denver is learning to open the mailbox and take a bag out of it. A for effort for sure!
This is a trick we will use for his trick dog titles that also teaches him the "pull" cue and the retrieve to hand behavior.

Accessibility: yellow lab puppy tries to retrieve mail out of a cow mailbox but fails to drop the mailbox rope while getting the bag and ends up dragging the mailbox over. In the next clip, the same dog opens the mailbox and retrieves the blue bag to handler.
