A turnaround is usually a tag at the end of a jazz tune or a section that uses the progression I VI II V. You can use this jazz lick to play over the changes of a major turnaround. Transpose it to all 12 keys, practice it at various tempos, change the articulation and accents. The more jazz vocabulary at your disposal, the better your improvisations.
