“Noah was a righteous man, blameless among the people of his time, and he walked faithfully with God.”

Daily Bread
1) The impact of sin on creation.
Noah’s generation was completely corrupt. God saw that, “…every inclination of the thoughts of the human heart was only evil all the time” (v. 5). Sin doesn’t stay still—it spreads and worsens. Noah’s generation is a clear picture of our modern world. People don’t follow God’s absolute truth. Instead, they live however they want, doing whatever feels right to them. But God calls us to be different. He wants us to live as righteous people who walk closely with Him. In a world full of darkness and corruption, we are meant to shine the light of Jesus. Take a moment to think about your actions, words, and choices. Are they leading others closer to Jesus? Let’s live in a way that positively influences others!

2) Living righteously in a corrupted generation.
In a time when the world was filled with corruption, Noah chose to live righteously and stay close to God. His life shows us that we can stay faithful and live with integrity, even in a broken world. Think about how you can stand strong in your faith, even when it’s hard or unpopular. Remember, our goal is to please God, not the world. Will you choose to live as an "ark-builder" today? Being an "ark-builder" means following God’s guidance, standing firm in your faith, and helping others find hope and salvation through Him. Share the gospel, build meaningful relationships, and look for ways to reflect God’s values and bring hope to others!

Prayer: Heavenly Father, help me understand the seriousness of sin and its impact on Your creation. Guide me to live a holy life, following Noah’s example of walking faithfully with You. Keep my heart focused on eternity and give me the courage to lead others to You. Empower me to shine Your light and share Your truth in a world that needs Your hope. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
