Rebellion and self-discovery over conformity
Gold and velvet weigh me down,
In a mirrored hall, I wear the crown.
Every step’s an echoed plea,
But I dream of skies that will set me free.
The clock strikes loud, its chime is stern,
I trace the flame, watch bridges burn.
Spin away, let the chandeliers swing,
Dance through the dark where the wild hearts sing.
Leave the throne and the shadows behind,
Find the fire where the stars unwind.
I’ve seen the winds steal rulers’ pride,
And castles fall to the changing tide.
Yet in your eyes, a rebel's glow,
You’re not the queen they think they know.
The masquerade can’t hold your name,
You’re chasing sparks, you’re fanning flames.
Spin away, let the chandeliers swing,
Dance through the dark where the wild hearts sing.
Leave the throne and the shadows behind,
Find the fire where the stars unwind.
The road is rough, but it’s my own,
A crown of smoke for a heart of stone.
The night is loud, the beat’s untamed,
We’ll carve our freedom, unchained, unclaimed.
Spin away, let the chandeliers swing,
Dance through the dark where the wild hearts sing.
Leave the throne and the shadows behind,
Find the fire where the stars unwind.
Gold and velvet fade to dust,
In starlit skies, I place my trust.
