January Mindset Reset • My Hero Word

Hi, Friends 💗 It's January, and you know that this is my favorite time to set my intention for the year since it's also my birthday month!

My intention, or Hero Word, for the 2024 is "Yield".
Last year was a super crazy and hectic year full of taking action. After 3 years of renovating a historic building for our business we finally launched our creative community center and 2023 was NON-STOP work work work in order to create momentum. Due to so many actions taken, we have initiated a LOT of new projects & programs.

Therefore, this year, I want to be mindful to YIELD to the ebb and flow instead of feeling like I need to be in control of it all. I want to be obedient to the organic way that business & life events will flow throughout the year and the way that God is directing our efforts to touch people's hearts.

There are MANY things about 2024 that intimidate me, but I'm being reminded that this is exactly why I need to be mindful to YIELD. When things scare me or bring up insecurities, I tend to clam up and kind if stall, and then when I have to spring into action I get so flustered that I often make decisions or make actions that are kind of erratic. This year, I've got to put up reminders and prompts to stay calm, loosen my grip, graft closer to God's word, pray more, stay focused and let go of the fear. Literally, I need to get out of God's way and let Him MOVE 😄
