Ghantakarna is one of the associates of Lord Shiva. He is blessed by Lord Narayana to be protector of the Holy dham Badrinath and the residents of Badrinath Dham and nearby villages. Ghantakarna is worshiped all over Garhwal and Kumaon but His main temple is situated in Mana or Manibhadrapuri.
