My Complete Winter Hiking Gear List: lighterpack.com/r/20b9ge

Here’s How I Pack My Pack:

Start by lining the inside of the pack with a trash compactor bag. This way if it’s wet out, everything inside the bag will stay dry.

Then pack everything you want to stay dry inside the trash compactor bag.

Inside my Repair Kit, I’ll also store in here a wag bag, emergency blanket and sunscreen so they all stay together and put this inside my bag.

In the outside mesh pocket, keep things you want easy access to like a poop kit.

On one outside sleeve pocket, keep a can of bear spray and on the other side, clip on a Garmin inReach.

In one of the side mesh pockets, keep a bottle water in a Nalgene sleeve to help prevent water from freezing and on the other side an 11th Essential.

The 11th Essential:

When hiking in the winter, I always bring with me an 11th Essentials, which is usually a warm drink like hot tea, hot soup or hot cocoa.

In one hip belt pockets, stash hand warmers and liner gloves.

In the other hip belt pocket, stash a couple easy hiking snacks.

Now you’re ready for your winter hike!
