What Ganesha’s Form Teach Us? | Om Dhumatkar #shorts

The name "Ganesha" is a powerful symbol in itself. It comes from "Gana," meaning the attendants of Shiva, and "Adheesh," meaning the leader.

But beyond the name, every feature of Ganesha has a deep meaning.

His large ears remind us to listen first, while his small eyes symbolize the need to focus on our tasks.

His covered mouth teaches us to speak less, but with value.

His trunk, capable of uprooting a tree and picking up a pin, shows incredible talent.

And then there’s the broken tusk—a symbol of being willing to self-sacrifice, with one story suggesting it was used to write the Mahabharata.

This video unpacks these lessons embedded in Ganesha’s form, offering insights that are not just spiritual, but also practical for everyday life.

Who am I ?

I am a spiritual seeker who has been studying Hindu philosophy, meditation, and practice for nearly two decades.

In 2022, I started sharing my spiritual insights - not as a Guru, neither a Sadhu, nor an Acharya - but as a fellow seeker.

Through my series of talks, "Bhagavad Gita: the Divine Song," and "Hanuman Chalisa Explained" I bring to life Hinduism's most popular scriptures, the Bhagavad Gita and the Hanuman Chalisa, in a way that is accessible, relatable, and real.

I aim to draw on the timeless wisdom of Hindu philosophy to discuss the issues of our age and inspire others on their spiritual journey.

Join me in exploring the depths of spirituality and the teachings of the Bhagavad Gita and Hanuman Chalisa.
