I made that up (mostly)

I made it up (mostly). A member of Elisabeth's Legion asked me if this had a historical basis, so here's the answer!

In my Viking-inspired Fantasy Romance, our main male character Cenric has promised to pay his former concubine's dowry. While this is sort of made up by me, it did have a historical basis.

While I couldn't figure out how to fit the "morning gift" into the narrative without making it weird, I did allude to it because ✨authenticity✨.
