**MALUKU ISLANDS, INDONESIA was an interesting find. Full of history as being the origin of cloves and distributer of spices. Other countries sailed to Maluku islands to get there spice trade on. Amazing. In this video I hope you got a sense of the life here in the Maluku provence. Slow yet full of beautiful colors and culture. Another interesting thing on these islands was the making of Sago, a local starch like food from the center of the sago palm tree. Apart from the food, the culture was vibrant and unspoiled with traditional dances such as Bambu Gila (builds strength and spirit for war) and the Saureka Reka dance (welcoming dance) which we were fortunate enough to have preformed for us while on Saparua and ambon islands. I look forward to someday returning to explore more of these beautiful islands but for now enjoy the video! And remember get in to getting out! Whoop Whoop!
