In Oaxaca, Mexico, Amy’s half-house was reimagined by Espacio 18 Arquitectura, becoming Casa Oficina Plúmula—a space for work, gatherings, and retreat beneath the vibrant shade of a flamboyant tree. 🌿🏡
The original adobe walls were preserved and reinforced with steel, pine wood, and red brick, blending rustic charm with contemporary design.
The project also integrates solar heating, rainwater collection, and natural insulation, proving that sustainable design can honor history while inspiring transformation.
