Did condensation KILL my camera and lens?

I was worried that condensation inside my camera and lens was going to break my Canon R5, but with some gentle techniques, I made sure it lived to keep on going. But letting it get that foggy in the first place was my fault, and could have been easily avoided if I had just taken more simple precautions in the first place.
