"Peace in the Storm"
Life can feel overwhelming, like waves crashing around us in a storm. But even in chaos, God offers us a peace that surpasses all understanding. Philippians 4:6-7 reminds us: “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”

Consider the moment in Mark 4:35-41, when Jesus calms the storm. The disciples were terrified as their boat was being tossed by the wind and waves. But Jesus, who was asleep, awoke and simply said, “Peace! Be still!” The storm obeyed Him, reminding us that no matter how strong the storm, Jesus is stronger.

We may not always see the storm calm immediately, but we can trust that God is with us in the boat. His presence brings peace even when the waves don’t subside. Isaiah 26:3 promises: “You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast because they trust in You.”

Today, invite God into your storms. Whether you're facing fear, doubt, or uncertainty, lay your burdens at His feet. Speak His promises over your life, and trust that His peace will guide you through.
