Swing Street | Matt Criscuolo | official music video | 2001

Swing Street is a song that I composed in memory of 52nd St., New York City in the 1940s and 1950s. unfortunately it’s not my own memory because I wasn’t alive at the time, or perhaps I was in a different reincarnation.
It must’ve been an exciting place to be not only a musician, but someone looking for some entertainment in New York City. You can hear the likes of Dizzy Gillespie, Charlie Parker, Thelonious Monk and all the greats that would play their awesome music into the wee hours of the night .
It must’ve been great to bar hop and hear all that great music on one street.
 Alan J Palmer – piano
Phil C Bowler – Bass
Beaver Bausch- drums and cymbals
Graham Bruce – trumpet
Ken barry – tenor saxophone
Matt Criscuolo- alto saxophone

Recorded on 2 inch analog tape in 2001 at carriage House Studios, stamford, CT
