The Bible pictures the spiritual battle of Jesus with Satan as led by the Holy Spirit. Satan tempted Jesus on three occasions, in which he was to turn stones into bread, be thrown from the pinnacle of the temple where Satan threatened to have Jesus airborne, and lastly, show Jesus the kingdoms of the world. Jesus refused, arguing that God's Word was the way to live.
