A Christmas Greeting - Elgar

A Christmas Greeting was composed in Rome in early December 1907 for a Christmas concert at Hereford Town Hall on 1st January 1908. Elgar was 50 years old..... The 2 symphonies, violin concerto and cello concerto had yet to be composed and even if he hadn’t written anything else after this we would have been left with some incredible music.
