The Somnath temple one of the famous and first jyotirlinga in India. The temple is built in the Chalukya style of temple architecture. This pious temple is built at the shore of the Arabian ocean on the western corner of the Indian subcontinent. Somnath is among the most revered pilgrimage sites in the country. According to Hindu mythology, the temple was primarily created by the moon in pure gold and later rebuilt by Ravana in silver and later it was built by Krishna in sandalwood and lastly by Bhimadeva in stone. It was actively studied by colonial era historians and archaeologists in the 19th- and early 20th-century, After India's independence, those ruins were demolished and the present Somnath temple was reconstructed in the Māru-Gurjara style of Hindu temple architecture. The contemporary Somnath temple's reconstruction was started under the orders of the first Home Minister of India Vallabhbhai Patel and completed in May 1951 after his death.Presently the Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi is the chairman of Shree Somnath Mandir trust.

After Girnar Darshan we went to explore Junhagad. We visited at Sakkarbaug Zoological Park & Akshardham Mandir. Had a Wonderful & Peaceful experience at above places.

So many famous and historic places near Junagadh, Talethi. As per my experience I'm not able to visit because of group rules and regulations but next time definitely cover all famous places at Junagadh.
