President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin had a phone call today regarding Trump's efforts to end Russia's war in Ukraine. The conversation lasted at least an hour and a half, during which Putin agreed to a partial ceasefire on energy infrastructure targets, according to the readouts provided by the White House and the Kremlin. That development notably falls short of the proposed 30-day full pause in fighting that Trump has been pushing for.
