REKAP: 📆 On This Day - February 25, 2016 - Dexter Fowler returns to Cubs, surprises teammates

In a new #rekap series, On This Day in 2016, the #chicagocubs and #dexterfowler surprised and shocked the baseball world by re-signing with the #cubs after it appeared he was heading to the #baltimoreorioles on a multi-year agreement. Fowler recalls that day when he showed up to #springtraining in Mesa, AZ, walking onto the field in street clothes unbeknownst the any of his teammates. #guff was there and captured the memorable video and gives his account from being a media bystander that day. Fowler went on to be one of the key cogs for the Cubs #worldseries run, hitting a leadoff homer in Game 7.
