Please excuse me for background hiss sound.
As we have learned before, pronoun is a word that replaces a noun.
What Are Possessive Pronouns?
Possessive pronouns show ownership or belonging to someone. Possessive pronouns are used to indicate who (or what) owns something. Like all pronouns, possessive pronouns take the place of nouns in sentences.
There are two kinds of possessive pronouns.
Possessive pronouns used with nouns

My, your, his, her, its, our, your and their

Possessive pronouns that stands alone

Mine, yours, his, hers, its, ours, yours, theirs

Singular personal pronouns possessive pronouns
I, me, you, he him, she and her mine, yours, his, hers
Plural personal pronouns Possessive pronouns
We, us , you, they, them ours, yours, theirs

Possessive pronouns could be subject or object and it also refers to a singular and plural antecedents. Often, you will use a possessive pronoun to talk about a person, place, or thing that has been explained in another sentence.
All possessive pronouns, yours, hers, theirs are always without an apostrophe.
Lets talk about rules of the apostrophe
An apostrophe shows possession or belonging. We add an apostrophe when we want to show possession with the person’s name. If a person’s name end in +s there are two possible ways to show possession form
• By adding an apostrophe +S or
• By adding only an apostrophe with S

With names we add an apostrophe and +S to show possession
Bob’s car
Sarah’s bag
Mira’s book
Singular, plural and irregular plural
We add an apostrophe and +S after a singular noun to show possession as mentioned above.
My Father’s car.
Father is a singular noun, therefore, to show possession, we add an apostrophe and +S
When we are talking about plural nouns, if the noun ends in S, only add an apostrophe without S
Examples: Teachers’ room
If a plural noun doesn’t end in S then, we will add an apostrophe and +S to create possessive form
Example: The children’s room
