DAYTONA 500 You Know What Is Coming 2025 William Byron

2025 Daytona 500 gave fans a little bit of everything despite it finishing under the lights after rain delays. With 5 laps to go another wreck was about to happen with Ryan Preece going airborne.

Ryan Preece walked away after a spectacular crash during the closing laps of the 2025 Daytona 500, going airborne and flipping down the backstretch and up the banking in Turn 3. The multi-car crash that began when Christopher Bell got spun in front of traffic with four laps to go. This setup the final laps for William Byron.

William Byron won his second consecutive Daytona 500 after a last-lap wreck took out many contenders.

He becomes the first back-to-back winner of the first race of the NASCAR season at Daytona Beach, Florida since Denny Hamlin in 2019-2020.
