What To Wear in 2025 (Viking Edition)

The time is upon us for York Viking Festival! If you've ever been to old Jorvik you'll know that every February hundreds of viking reenactors descend upon the city in various levels of historical clothing, and take over for a weekend!
Every year people comment on the channel and ask if I'll be there, or say they tried to say hello but couldn't find me. So this year, here's a run down of what I'll be wearing for the biggest viking event in the UK - I always thought I'd make a good fashion model - bring out the catwalk!
Incidentally, if you want to get yourself a basic viking impression going, all the items mentioned will work for clothes except the massive pants, which are specifically for a wealthy man of probably the 9th century - for basic trousers, get a less voluminous pair in a plainer, or un-dyed wool.
