Sabeth Pérez & Gabriel Pérez - Eco | WDR BIG BAND

Sabeth Pérez (vocals) and Gabriel Pérez (alto saxophone) perform together with the WDR BIG BAND “Eco” (composer: Sabeth Pérez / arranger: Gabriel Pérez) under the direction of Stefan Pfeifer-Galilea. Additional solos are played by guest musicians Martin Scales on guitar and Ruud Breuls on flugelhorn. Recorded as part of the concert “WDR BIG BAND feat. Sabeth and Gabriel Peréz ‘La Adivina’ at the WDR Funkhaus in Cologne (November 2024).

Sabeth Pérez found inspiration for this new program in spirituality: The legends of the South American seer Adivina tell of her supernatural powers that give people comfort for their personal future. Sabeth and her father, the Argentinian arranger Gabriel Pérez, have translated all this into modern South American jazz.
