Treebones Resort is much more than your typical resort, as it tries to be as sustainable as possible and leave no negative impact on the Earth to run their business. All lodging is 'perched lightly' up in the hills of Big Sur, trying to leave the natural landscape undisturbed. They also have their own organic garden to make meals from and use renewable resources whenever possible. I had the opportunity to interview Treebones Resort co-owner, John Handy, and learn more about them at the beginning of 2020.
