Feroci - Fuga IV in D minor - Metzler Organ, Poblet, Hauptwerk

Francesco Feroci (San Giovanni Valdarno, 1673 - Florence, 1750) was an Italian organist, composer and priest. In 1688 he became a pupil of Giovanni Maria Casini in Florence, studying music theory, composition, and organ. From 1697 to 1701 he was organist in various Florentine and Tuscan churches. From 1702 on he deputized for his teacher at Florence Cathedral. In 1719, after Casini's death, he obtained the post of chief organist there.
